Recent Highlights
  • Succeeded in representing seller of business assets in AAA arbitration. Buyer sought rescission of $3.5 million Asset Purchase Agreement. After proceeding through a week long Final Hearing on the merits, Williams Law’s client prevailed defensively against all of Buyer’s claims and obtained extremely favorable (and just) declarations of disputed contract terms, including restrictive covenants. ​
  • Obtained award of over $2.5 million against plaintiff in final judgment on defamation claims as well as a full denial of all of plaintiff’s claims. Huge victory for wrongfully accused charitable donor.
  • Successfully represented business and employees, sued by former employer alleging violations of restrictive and non-compete covenants. Prevailed defensively on all claims, obtaining a full dismissal.
  • Successfully obtained a $1.75 million verdict after a weeklong jury trial on behalf of seller in real estate transaction dispute.
  • Prevailed defensively on a summary judgment motion securing a win for sellers accused of fraud in a real estate transaction by buyers seeking over $3 million in damages.
  • Following weeklong jury trial in Denton County, prevailed on counterclaim for attorney's fees and won award of six-figures for sellers falsely accused of fraud in a real estate transaction.
  • Obtained a jury verdict in favor of a partner and employee in contentious business divorce litigation, representing a client who had been conned by a former business partner.  
  • Successfully resolved contentious trust and estate litigation in favor of an elderly widow, in an estate valued at over $3 million.
  • Won a six-figure settlement for an employee who was victimized by discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace.

Rachel Williams is an experienced trial lawyer with a passion for justice.  Rachel advocates for the rights of businesses, employees, and individuals in tough disputes.  After honing her advocacy skills at Norton Rose Fulbright, one of the world's leading international law firms, Rachel founded Williams Law in 2016 to bring sophisticated, big firm experience to a boutique setting.    

For the past decade, Rachel Williams' litigation skills have earned clients big wins in state court, federal court, and arbitration.  Rachel has successfully defended and advocated for clients in jury trials, hearings, and throughout the litigation process.  Rachel is based in Dallas, Texas, but has handled cases in courts around the country.  Her experience includes business litigation, trust and estates litigation, labor and employment cases, and general civil disputes. 

Rachel grew up in Dallas.  She attended college in Lexington, Virginia, graduating magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University.  She returned to her home state to obtain her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, graduating with honors from one of the nation's top law schools.  

In 2014, Rachel was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.  After advocating for the rights of a business facing tough competition and attacks from opposing parties for three years, Rachel and her team finally won by succeeding on her opposition brief filed in the Supreme Court.
